Junior Coaches Wanted:
MPHC urgently requires volunteers to assist with junior programs. All of these programs are there to encourage young people to take up the sport, which ensures that we have more players coming through and joining the club. You don't need any special qualifications, just a good heart, patience and a willingness to work with young children and help them enjoy sporting participation. For more information check the following articles:
- Frankston Council's Activate Program - 20 April
- Hookin2Hockey - 2-4 April
- U9 Regional competition - commencing 29 April
Cheryle Bishop can provide further details about each of these programs - contact details 97667478 or cheryle at MPHC

MONASH WORKS AFFECT HOCKEY FIELD ACCESS
Two projects are affecting access to and parking for Monash hockey fields:
• Monash Peninsula is affected by the Melbourne Water Pipe works, and
• Monash Clayton grounds are changing for new student residences.
Both carparks are now inaccessible. In using any alternative parking take careful notice of parking restrictions.
Peninsula
The pipeworks is now proceeding through the carparking area. Once this is completed the carpark will be resealed. The works will continue up Bloom Street which will prevent again access to the hockey pitch carpark. Monash is seeking to have access put in along the fenceline from the front of campus to the hockey pitch carpark when Bloom St. is closed. Access for deliveries, emergency ambulance is to the pitch south entrance via the pedestrian walkway. Security can be contacted on 9904 4318 for emergency access or anyone requiring an escort to their car at night.
Clayton
The previous public parking area for the hockey field, tennis courts and soccer ground is now permanent 24/7 residential parking only. Don't park here as you will be fined. Sports users will need to use the C11 gravel car park opposite the swimming pool, or the MultiStorey Car park. If the boomgate is closed please contact the Sport Duty Supervisor in the Gym.
Blue Parking
Monash Blue permit area restrictions only apply from 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday - you may park in any of these areas outside these times
